Start by soaking your feet in warm water for about 10-15 minutes to soften the skin.
Once your feet are sufficiently soaked, take the pedicure foot file and hold it firmly by the plastic handle, ensuring a secure grip.
Examine the two sides of the file. One side usually has a coarse or rough surface, while the other side is smoother.
If you have thicker calluses or rough patches, begin with the coarse side of the file. Gently rub it against the rough areas of your feet using light to moderate pressure. Move the file in a back-and-forth or circular motion, focusing on the areas that require more exfoliation.
Gradually transition to the smoother side of the file to further refine and smooth the skin. Continue using the same back-and-forth or circular motion, applying lighter pressure compared to the coarse side.
While using the file, periodically check your progress and adjust the pressure and technique as needed. Be cautious not to over-file or irritate the skin.
Once you're satisfied with the level of exfoliation, rinse your feet with warm water to remove any residual dead skin cells.
Pat your feet dry with a towel and apply a moisturizer or foot cream to nourish and hydrate the skin.
Clean the foot file after each use. Rinse it with water and mild soap, or follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper cleaning and maintenance.
